Meet Dr. Carmen Lorenzo
Dr. Carmen Lorenzo is a lifelong New Jersey resident. Having grown up in Eatontown, NJ on Lorenzo's Farm, one of the last farms of its kind in the area, he always possessed a love for animals. His formal education began at Monmouth University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in secondary education. He became a high school science teacher in Brick Township before pursuing his true passion for animal care.
Soon after, he enrolled at the University of Pisa in Italy, graduating in 1981 with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. He practiced for many years before purchasing Neptune Animal Hospital
in 1991.
In 1997 and 1998, Dr. Lorenzo chose to expand his expertise by attending a professional course in Boulder, CO. In Colorado, he studied veterinary homeopathy under Dr. Richard Pitcarin. Dr. Lorenzo currently specializes in small animal care, offering a wide variety of vet services. They include routine care, general surgery, dentistry, and homeopathic medicine.
In 2004, Dr. Lorenzo opened Yellow Roof Pet Care in Asbury Park to accommodate his patients with food, supplies, and grooming. Visit us today at 1019 Main St.
